The Gospel of John – The Light that gives life!

pic2

The Truth: ” In him was life and the life was the light of men.  The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”  John 1:4-5

Our Lord Jesus Christ is beyond us!  Before the creation, he was there.  All was made for him.  He was the light that no darkness can overcome.

Cancer crushed my body, but not my spirit.  In my battle with it, my Lord was with me.  He was there before me.  He is the light that delivered me.

Light is faster than sound!  Before the sounds of all the machines attached to my body, before the sounds of cutting of my skin and flesh, before the sound of needles passing through my veins and skins attaching them together, before the doctors set the CCTV Cameras and recorded everything they were doing, before all my senses shut off due to anaesthesia, my God has delivered me.  At a speed of light He has healed me.  Before I repent, before I forgive, before I obey, before I sing and worship him, before I read and meditate on his words, he was there before me.

By faith, I received the promise of healing.  I tasted the fruit of being obedient to God and being loved by Him.  I received His healing mercy.  His faithfulness rebuild my crushed body and renewed my strength: body, mind and spirit.  He strengthened my faith to the nth level.  There’s no more to worry, I have my salvation.  My Lord is before me!

Prayers:

Father Almighty, thank you for loving me.  Thank you for sending Jesus Christ to save me.  Thank you that he is the light who has come into my world to expose the truth, to overcome all darkness and save me from shame.  Thank you that you were there for me.  Thank  you for your faithfulness.  Thank you for preparing me for this battle.  Thank you for giving me your shield and preserving my life because you loved me.

Lead and Serve

The Journey of a True Disciple

What Now?

After receiving and accepting Jesus’ calling to be one of his disciples, I was moved with his compassion that I brought these children to Christ.

It costs to follow Jesus Christ, but it costs more not to. Seeing myself as one of His committed disciples and the love of God and the joy of knowing Christ made me generous to share all what I have with these children. For years we had a fruitful relationship with God and they received God’s greatest gift – their Salvation through Christ Jesus. Praise Him forevermore!

The Truth : Psalm 139:16 “Your eyes saw my unformed body, all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”

Reflections:

God is with us since the beginning of our time.  He never leaves us.  He is always present in all stages of our lives.  He is always there to support us especially in times of need, in times of sadness, in times of failure, in times of pain, in times of fear, God is there with us.
Today as we praise the Lord, let us use the memories of the past, how He delivered us in many troubles that we’ve been through, to motivate us.
Let us praise the Lord on the day that we were born.  Let us praise Him for taking care of us as we grow.  Let us praise Him for giving us strength and courage in keeping our responsibilities as sons and daughters, as students, as parents and as grandparents.
Let us praise Him for sustaining all our needs to survive.  Let us praise Him in hearing all our prayers, requests and petitions, He answers us all.
Let us praise the Lord for every good and perfect gifts that He gave us.  Praise Him for our SALVATION FROM CHRIST – the ultimate gift of God’s love for us.
Because the Lord is with us, we have nothing to fear, we are secured in the Lord!
Prayers:
Father Almighty, my soul will praise you forever.  Thank you for everything that has come to pass because it is your will for me to survive and be victorious.  You sustain me from the very beginning of my life.  Nothing can compare to your love for me.  Thank you for your loving kindness.  Thank you for your mercy and grace that  I have tasted in abundance everyday.
Father in Heaven, thank you for calling me your child.  Thank you for installing Christ in my heart.  Thank you for increasing my faith when cancer strikes me the first time in 2002 and again last 2013.  Thank you for being with me in those dark and painful days of my chemotherapies and radiotherapies.  Thank you for appointing doctors and all people (my family; my son and daughters and their spouses, especially Ryan, my spiritual family at Victory Christian Fellowship, all my friends and classmates ) you used all of them to perform your MIRACLES OF HEALING ME.
Thank you that you have secured me.  Thank you that I have trusted you.  Thank you that you made my heart steady.  Thank you that you have removed all fears from my heart and filled it with faith.
Remembering my past on how you are victorious calmed me.  All your ways are righteous. Thank you that I have my SALVATION, I am secured.  From my mother’s womb you set me apart.  I belong to You in life, in death and through Eternity.
The Heaven’s declared I AM CANCER FREE, God, you are my stronghold.  You are faithful.  You have preserved my life because you love me.
Let my soul praise you through Christ our Lord.  Amen.
A POEM FOR THE LORD
This too will come to pass
(I am secured with the Lord)
When in trouble, I think of God.
This too will come to pass,
I think of how He saved me from the past,
It is His will for me to survive.
When I am sick, I think of God.
This too will come to pass,
I hold on to His promise of Long Life,
All my needs, He will provide.
Praise the Lord! all His creations,
His works are wonderful,
Praise the Lord, Oh! my soul,
I am one of His creations.
Lord, You are faithful, You are Loving.
Till the end of time You are true
I have my Salvation, Alone will I praise You
Praise the Lord, Oh! my soul.

The Kingdom of God, the Greatest Commandments and Following Jesus Christ

DSC_0226I would like to share to you my brothers and sisters-in Christ, my Reflection on Mark chapters 9 and 12 logged on my prayer book dated May 10, 2009.

Why would Jesus say that the Kingdom of God belongs to the little Children?

How can we have Eternal Life?

THE TRUTH :

In Mark chapters 9 and 12, our Lord Jesus Christ was asked by two persons, one was a young, rich man and the other was a Teacher of the Law.

The young, rich man asked Him what should he do to have Eternal Life, he has everything, but this.  He told Jesus that since a boy he has kept all the commandments God has given to Moses.  With compassion, the Lord told him, “Sell everything you have, give it to the poor and follow me.”  The young, rich man went away sad because he had great wealth.  Then Jesus said to His disciples, “how hard it is to enter the Kingdom of God, it is easier for the camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God.”

A Teacher of the Law asked Jesus what is the most important of all the commandments.  He answered him, “the greatest commandment” is this: “There is only one true God you will serve and love with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength and the second is love your neighbor as you love yourself, no commandment is greater than these.”  The Teacher of the Law agreed with Him and Jesus told him, “You are not far from the Kingdom of God.”

REFLECTION:

Our Lord Jesus Christ gave the true vision of God’s Kingdom to both men.  However, both men cannot accept Jesus’ Greatest Commandment not because of disobedience, but because they were both proud that they cannot serve a “poor God”  (Our Lord, physically, is a son of a carpenter) who is serving “poor people”, who according to Him is our “neighbor”.  The saddest thing is up to now after 2000 plus years ago, the same proudness still exist.

Performance and knowledge of the Law is not an assurance for us to enter the Kingdom of God.  Remember, heart, soul, mind and strength (body) should focus on one purpose: loving and serving the Lord our God with everything that we have and loving our neighbor the same way we have loved ourselves.

Be like a camel: obedient and selfless.  Be like a child: humble, dependent and worry free.

MY PRAYER:

Father, I pray, grant us, our children, our grandchildren and all our generations  a perfect and healthy heart, body, mind and soul.  Fill them with your Holy Spirit to be able to function according to your will and command in Jesus’ Name.  Amen.

Life is created by God for us to enjoy through Eternity.

Diamond in the Rough

I am one of the Diamonds in the rough redeemed by the Blood of Christ, an  organic Gold, purified by the His Love. I am the living testimony of His greatness.  Victory to victory, together, we will march.  We will rejoice for seeing our Salvation.  Everyday, we increase in numbers!

“He who receives you, receives me, and he who receives me receives the one who sent me.  And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is my disciple, I tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his rewards!  Matthew 10:41-42Image
